What We Believe
Living Faith's mission is the Church's mission as commissioned by Christ and revealed in God's Word.
"And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Statement Of Faith
We embrace the Christian faith once for all delivered to the saints. Our statement of faith, adapted from the revised New Hampshire Confession of Faith from 1853, establishes the cornerstone truths of our church as guided by Scripture and seen in the historical creeds that faithful believers composed to accurately define and defend God’s Word. This statement registers our belief in historic Christianity, evangelical Christianity, believer’s baptism, and congregational polity.
Church Covenant
A covenant formalizes the responsibilities of a church member as described in the “one another” passages in Scripture. It helpfully summarizes the primary obligations of a church member and helps the members understand the importance of their role and job. A church’s confession is its vertical commitment to God, while the church covenant is its horizontal commitment to one another.
Church Bylaws
Living Faith Fellowship maintains a Statement of Faith, Church Covenant, and Bylaws. Together, these documents assist in biblically organizing and conducting the ministries entrusted to the church by the Lord Jesus Christ. While these documents provide structure and guidance, they are effective only through the leadership, guidance, and power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, acknowledging our complete dependence upon God, we establish these Bylaws for the governance and ministry of Living Faith Fellowship.
